AGRITOURISM SANTA MARIA

Our farmhouse dates back to the 1930s, built of local stone and brick, is located between Pienza and Monticchiello, within the Val d’Orcia Natural and Cultural Artistic Park, recently recognized by UNESCO, as a World Heritage Site. We have, step by step, renovated the farmhouse and given a quality imprint to our farm by producing cereals (“Agriqualità” certification), oil, saffron, jams, spelt, chickpeas and wheat flour. The work we do, both agricultural and agritourism, is followed personally by us, trying to hand down and make known the traditions of our places. We give our guests the opportunity to stay in an apartment (“La Loggia”), consisting of a double bedroom, bathroom, living room with fireplace and kitchenette; or in three double bedrooms with respective bathrooms “La Vigna” – “L’Olivo” – “Il Leccio”. The farmhouse is surrounded by a large garden with swimming pool. Mountain bikes are at your disposal for excursions in and around Valdorcia. Possibility of walks and cultural entertainment in neighboring towns such as Monticchiello, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, San Quirico or interesting visits to the nearby spas of Bagno Vignoni and San Filippo. In addition to farming, we raise farm animals. On the ground floor, next to the farmhouse facilities is our kitchen where we will be happy to prepare tasty dinners prepared with farm products. Included in the facilities are bath and bed linens and pool towels, wood for the fireplace, a hair dryer for each bathroom, satellite TV and mini-bar. The premises have air conditioning and heating. For those staying more than a week, linen change is included.
