CASANOVA

a San Quirico d’Orcia

A unique panorama, that of the Val d’Orcia Natural Park, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for its cultural landscape resulting from the perfect combination of the interaction between man and nature located in the paradise of the Tuscan hills in the province of Siena.

What one notices when arriving at Casanova is an all-round view of the valley framed on its sides by the towns of Pienza, Radicofani and Montalcino and an absolute quietness just a stone’s throw from the ancient medieval village of San Quirico d’Orcia, which in the past was a place of refreshment for Popes and their Messengers on their journey to Rome along the ancient “Via Francigena.”

A typical Tuscan structure where the atmosphere you breathe is that of a country house pampered by the gentle breeze of the Val d’Orcia that makes you forget the passing of time immersed in the harmony of nature and its silence. The splendor of nature blends here in perfect balance between the attention to the well-being of guests pampered in the new spa and massage center, which offers a wide range of treatments and massages, and the services of a first-class hotel including a cozy cocktail bar and spacious lobby overlooking the pool, living room with panoramic terrace, billiard room, panoramic outdoor pool with whirlpool waterfalls, tennis court, billiards, and private parking outside the hotel.

The Etruscan Spa with Alkaline Salt-Iodine Magnesium water health and wellness path with pools

hydrotherapy whirlpools and waterfalls at temperatures ranging from 32°- 34° to 38° C.

All assisted by the Salt Mists of the Thermal Cave, the Etruscan Cave and the Saline Cave.

The Spa Light with 32° Whirlpool with Geyser stations and Whirlpool Cascades

A well-being that begins with the tastefully furnished rooms equipped with all those little big comforts capable of making you feel truly on vacation and continues with the pleasure of the palate with the typical Tuscan cuisine of the Taverna del Barbarossa inside an ancient farmhouse dating back to 1200 with a 180° view of the Val d’Orcia. Skilful reworking by the chef also allows people with gluten intolerance to enjoy ancient Tuscan cuisine with a wide selection of typical dishes. All accompanied by a selection of fine wines such as Brunello di Montalcino and Nobile di Montepulciano.

To complete guest services, there is an equipped center for conventions and meetings divided into rooms of 20 to 100 seats.
