The event celebrating the famous Brunello di Montalcino

Tastings, seminars, debates, award ceremonies. All this is Benvenuto Brunello, the main event of the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino, which since 1992 has been unveiling the new vintages of the king of Sangiovese to the trade. A reference appointment for journalists, restaurateurs, importers, wine merchants and all wine lovers.

Benvenuto Brunello takes place in February and includes the presentation to the press of new wines introduced to the market from the beginning of the new year. During the event the stars awarded to the newly produced vintage are proclaimed and the commemorative tile of the new vintage is laid and the Leccio d’Oro Awards are presented.

During the event, several tastings of Brunello, one of the world’s most celebrated wines, are organized in the Cloisters of the Montalcino Museum. There are also opportunities to taste other excellences such as Rosso di Montalcino and truffles.
