Il Rigo is ideal for those seeking peace and beauty. A fortunate starting point for numerous itineraries on foot, by bike or by car, it is just a few kilometers from art cities such as Pienza, Montalcino, San Quirico d’Orcia, Montepulciano, Monticchiello and Bagno Vignoni, which make the Val d’Orcia a jewel for art and history.
Our estate is organically cultivated with cereals and legumes in rotation, and we also have a small olive grove, the product of which is cold-processed in the village’s old stone mill.
Our en-suite rooms are divided into two farms: Casabianca, a stone building with an original 16th-century floor plan, which also houses our restaurant, where we serve genuine, traditionally prepared Tuscan dinners with local products every evening, and red-brick Poggio Bacoca. Breakfast, where you will find cakes baked in the morning and homemade homemade sliced meats and pecordino di Pienza, is served at Casabianca.
